THE FACULTY OF JOURNALISM AND POLITICAL SCIENCE CELEBRATED INTERNATIONAL STUDENT DAY

Last week, the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science traditionally celebrated International Students Day.

“In front of the screen ...” the dean of the faculty, Professor Kairat Sak said: “When we fought for independence in our student years, you devour the fruits of this independence. Therefore, these times are the happiest, most joyful periods of life. I wish you to appreciate this happiness and serve our independence! Happy Holidays!" with a congratulatory speech.

At the solemn event, organized by the senior lecturer of the Department of Printing and Publishing Gulzhazira Ertasova, songs, kui were sounded, poems, riddles, excuses were read, comedy videos of our students were shown, and art scenes that broaden their horizons were presented. Our graduate passed the baton to the 3rd year. Everything went perfectly.

For the first time in the history of an online event, we listened to the wishes of the teachers who congratulated their students on the holiday. We listened to the gratitude of our young students to their teachers.

It was an evening when our teachers and all of our students from China, Mongolia and all over the country joined us through the Microsoft Teams platform. At the end of the evening, which lasted 2 hours, the participants said goodbye, wishing to get away from the epidemic and move from online to offline.
