From January 9 to February 25, 2023, students of the 4th year of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science, specialties "Publishing Business" and "Journalism and Reporting" had industrial practice. Passing an internship gave the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired within the walls of the university. Besides, practise has a great influence on the formation of professional competence in future journalists. Students tell us very well about the practice; they think it was very fruitful because all of them showed excellent results.
The defence of industrial practises took place on February 27. The members of the committee were associate professor Esdauletov A.O., senior lecturer of the printing and publishing department Emtsova A.G., senior lecturer of the printing and publishing department Smailova A.B., senior lecturer of the printing and publishing department, and Eralina J.E. The lecturers praised the students for their good results and the work they had done. According to the results of practice, about 30% of the students were employed. Industrial practise shows what huge potential our students have.
