Seven facets of the Great Steppe

The Great Steppe, the motherland of Turkic peoples.

The First-year students of Public Relations’ major and a political scientist Madina Didigova, similar to other thousands of citizens of our country, held a discussion session on the article “Seven Facets of the Great Steppe” by President Nursultan Nazarbayev. During the discussion participants had opportunities to express their opinions and compare a content of article with modern challenges of our time, especially on the education of our society in the modern realities of social development.
“Protecting our culture, morality, nation-state identity are the keys to preserving the historically significant heritage of the Turkic civilization”. In educational institutions, our key task is to strive the fundamental vectors of development of Kazakhstan’s society, including the preservation and status of the Kazakh heritage, culture and statehood indicated in the President’s article “Seven Facets of the Great Steppe”, said Ms. M.Didigova.
The Kazakh society is undergoing the onslaught of world values, which gradually erase our identity, unifying countries and peoples. Our task is to preserve the values of our roots and pass on to the next generation.
Alisher Madiev, a student of PR, writes: “By this article the Leader of the Nation attempts to show the uniqueness and depth of the Kazakh nation, who has been striving to live in peace and harmony.
Large-scale innovations in blacksmithing and fencing art, great spiritual wealth, the originality of animal style, the history of Great Akyns and thinkers. The Kazakh youth relies on their ancestors, on ancient traditions and customs.
Nowadays, the Kazakh people are developing all areas of science and art. It is our task to follow the ideas of “Рухани Жаңғыру” to promote our values in the international arena.

Victoria Gavrish, a PR student,  also expressed her thoughts:
“The President shared the history of the Great Silk Road and states that the success of our development largely depends on our work, preservation of the historical heritage, development of science, on how we take advantage of the geographical position of Kazakhstan, how we will strengthen its borders and good partnership with our neighbors.
The Great Silk Road is not only a monument of ancient history, it is the future of our country!

For many years, the President of Kazakhstan has put enormous efforts to establish Kazakhstan as a key trading partner and a prestigious center for shopping and tourist routes in the world community. No wonder that our capital has become the pride of Kazakhstan, under the strict guidance and enormous contribution of our President.
