Students discussed the impact of the media on society

As you know, the 2nd year doctoral students of the faculty started the new academic year with teaching practice. As previously reported, young researchers gave lectures on some disciplines and also discussed current problems in the field in practical classes with faculty students.

Recently, 2nd year masters students majoring in journalism discussed the impact of mass media on society, the environment, and culture in an open lecture led by doctoral student Meruyert Burkitbayeva.

During the lecture, examples from foreign practice were given, and students also discussed how domestic media are changing our environment.

This experience allows trainees to understand the peculiarities of pedagogical activity, to share experiences and to diversify the classes.

The open lesson was attended by students of the faculty, as well as the head of the Department of TV, radio and public relations Serikzat Duysengazy, the head of the discipline Elmira Ibraeva and other teachers of the department.
