On March 2, on the initiative of the Students' Assembly under the leadership of B. Bulegenova, B.B. an event dedicated to the celebration of Thanksgiving was organized. This is the first such event at the university, dedicated to the holiday, so beloved for the whole world.
All the inalienable attributes of Thanksgiving were used in the program of the event: songs and dances of different peoples, poems, wishes and eating of traditional dishes.
The main guest of the holiday was the dean of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science Sak Kairat Omirbaevich, who delivered a welcoming speech.
"Your faculty is the locomotive of the university. I am proud of your achievements and accept them at my own expense. What you are doing is a great success! Our students need to know not only their culture, but also the culture of those states whose language it learns. On this day, I want to thank each of you, for loving your work! "
Then, in the prepared entertaining presentation, the guests were told about the celebration of Thanksgiving in Kazakhstan. The event ended with a festive table.
