The meeting took place with Kumarbek Kalkatayev, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, one of the famous representatives of the Kazakh singing art, composer, actor, student of the famous Zhanibek Karmenov, which took place on January 27, with first-year students of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science. The event was opened by the dean of the faculty, the famous scientist Sak Kairat.
The guest of the event, Kumarbek Kalkatayev, shared with the participants about his passion for music in childhood, about how the young boy Kumarbek came to the world of art, and about his disinterested love for Kazakh art. During the meeting, Kumarbek Kalkatayev shared his memories of his career, as well as his advice to students.
Our students also showed that they are not far from pure art. For example, Kabdymanapov Doszhan, a student of the KZh-13 group, performed the "Wave of Mood" by Seken Turysbek, and Rakhimberdy Maksat, a student of the KZh-11 group, read the poem "Encouragement" by M. Shakhanov.
Gulzhaukhar Bolatova, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, who took part in the event, also shared her impressions of the evening. Summing up the results of the instructive meeting, Kairat Sak thanked our guest on behalf of the participants and presented the books "Uly dala Aseleuі" and "Elu degen bir beles".
