The profession of a journalist is always in demand and there is a very big responsibility on the people of this profession. Therefore, it is important to have skill, intelligence, quick thinking, have a great store of knowledge and truly love your job. At the same time, it is always necessary to remember that the path of a journalist is not easy, sometimes you have to fall, and then get up and continue stubbornly climbing to the top. And each in its own way achieves creative heights.
All this was discussed at a meeting with the author of the journal Zholy book - Journalistic Way, with Bazargul Umbetova, laureate of the Kenzhebolat Shalabayev Prize of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan, first established in the field of television and the Akim prize of Astana city Altyn Kalam, the winner of breastplate of the sign “Akparat Salasyyn үzdіgі”, the Letter of Gratitude from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Grand Prix of the international creative competition “Shabyt”.
This meeting, initiated by the Republican public association "Club of Editors" and the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science of the Eurasian National University named after L. Gumilyov, was held on October 26 this year at ENU. The event, moderated by political scientist Kenzhebolat Zholdybay, was attended by masters of journalism, famous creative personalities, scientists, teachers, undergraduates, students of ENU, representatives of national media.
About the book and its author spoke Kairat Sak, Dean of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science, Muratbek Toktagazin, Vice President of the Republican Public Association “Club of Editors-in-Chief Editors”, first press secretary of Astana, head of Media Tughel holding, writer Sadibek Tughel, Alash movement researcher Kairbek Saduakasov, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Tilegen Sadykov, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a prominent specialist in the field of radio and television Mahat Sadyk, a well-known journalist, master of eloquence Anar Toleukhankyzy, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science at ENU, Ph.D Gulzhauhar Bolatova and other venerable specialists of the journalistic sphere, graduates of ENU - students of Bazargul Umbetova, students.
They noted her high professionalism, amazing performance, impeccable honesty and attentive attitude to the needs of ordinary people, the ability to attract and lead. According to them, the journalistic way of Umbetova is a vivid example of how history is made by ordinary people, if they have love for their land, their people and a great desire to realize their dream. There were suggestions that students and undergraduates should be encouraged to engage in the research work of Bazargul Umbetova.
In turn, Bazargul Seitzhanovna shared the difficult path of becoming a journalist, the persistent formation of her own authority in the chosen professions, showed with concrete examples that journalism as a whole is a very interesting, lively and beautiful profession, and that she quickly highlights talent and erases mediocrity. She also witnessed her respect for her native land, respect for the capital Astana, and her craft colleagues, and radio journalists in Astana for 16 years of working together in the information field of the metropolis.
