International cooperation

One of the priorities of the department is the development of international cooperation with the leading scientific centers and universities of the world. Department of Political Science very closely and productively cooperates with the universities of the CIS - the Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov University, the Siberian Federal University, the Yerevan State University, the Kemerovo State University, the universities and scientific centers of Europe - the European Center for Security Studies (FRG), the Sofia University. K. Ohridski and the University of Velikopyrnovsky "Saints Cyril and Methodius" (Bulgaria), Warsaw and Wroclaw universities (Poland), US universities - Louisville University, University of New Mexico, State University of San Francisco and others.

The exchange of experience and knowledge is actively developing the academic mobility of teaching staff and students of the department. Students of educational programs of the Department of Political Science in the academic mobility were trained in the universities of South Korea - Hankuk University (Smakova Zh. And Iskakova J.), University of Yonsei (Akhmetov A.), at the University of Vitautas Magnus (Lithuania) - Iskakov A. and Nurtazin D ., in Pittsburgh State University (USA) - Zhumagaliyev B., etc. According to the program ERASMUS + doctor PhD Aikenova DM, she passed a research internship, and undergraduates of the second year of specialty 6M050200-political science Kizabekova Anara and Galyamova Maryam studied semester in Wroclaw University (Poland). Under the same program, Davor Boban (Croatia), Petr Sula and Norbert Tomaszewski (Poland) underwent scientific internships at the Department of Political Science. 

The Department of Political Science accepts students from other universities for training and internships. On a long-term basis, the citizens of Ukraine Ruban S. and Lensky A. were trained at the department. Foreign teachers - Charles Ziegler and Jason Heinous (Louisville University, USA), Gregory Glissen (Marshall Center, Germany), Tatyana Dronzina (Sofia University, Bulgaria), Uyama Tomohiko made a significant contribution to the preparation of political scientists at the level of international standards.
