The third year PhD doctoral students of the political science specialty of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science Toktushakov Arman and Smakova Zhanar passed a research internship at the Siberian Institute of Management of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation in Novosibirsk from February 5 to April 6 2018.
During the internship, doctoral students received the opportunity to get consultations from prominent experts in political science, specialists in the field of international relations. Consulting with teachers of the Department of political Sciences and technologies of the Faculty of politics and international relations on water relations in the CIS countries. During the trip discussions on the topic of the dissertation were held with the Deputy Director of the Academy Taushkanov N. N., Dean of the School of politics and international relations, candidate of historical Sciences, Professor Kozlov S. V., Deputy.Dean for science and educational-methodical work of the Department of politics and international relations, Ph. D., assistant Professor Barsukov, A. M., Dean of the Faculty of state and municipal management, Ph. D., assistant Professor Savinov L. V., Head of the Department of State and municipal management, Ph. D., assistant Professor Bereznyakov D. M.
There were valuable recommendations and conclusions, which will be used in the future when writing dissertations. At the same time, the resources of the Institute's academic library made it possible to study a large number of literature on the topic of research of doctoral students - on the migration policy of Kazakhstan and on transboundary water cooperation in Central Asia.
In general, the research fellowship at the SIU RASHiGS allowed the doctoral students to comprehensively review and analyze important aspects of dissertations and improve the quality of research.
