In November-December, the selection for the first School of Analytics took place. Over 260 applications were submitted to participate in the project. Based on the results of consideration of applications, 40 people were selected by the competition commission.
The analytics school starts on January 15, 2022 and will last eight weeks. Classes will be held on Saturdays. Well-known Kazakhstani and foreign experts representing the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, ICRIAP RK, KISI under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nazarbayev University, Higher School of Economics and other organizations were invited as lecturers and trainers.
The School of Analytics is aimed at strengthening analytical approaches in public administration, social and humanitarian studies, and the media. The educational process will be built around the development of theory - criteria, standards and specifics of qualitative analytics; as well as the development of practical skills in writing analytical texts. The initiator of the project was the Club of Young Experts at the Senate.
The lecturer of the Department of Political Science Nurzhan Bolatuly, doctoral students Akesina A., Oscar M., Sankhayeva Zhanar, also graduates of the Department Zhuldyzai Iskakova, Kamal Nuraly, Kulzhanov Muhar successfully passed the competition in the School of Analytics, with which the Department of Political Science congratulates!
