 On October 11, the stuff of the Teleradio and Public Relations Department organized a meeting for students of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science, with the editor-in-chief of the magazine "The London Post", BBC channel chief expert Dr. Shahid Qureshi. The British expert specializes in topics such as security, terrorism and international law. It was he who launched the web portal www.centralasiapost.com, thus increasing the information space of Central Asia.

During the conversation, Dr. Qureshi spoke about current requirements and trends in journalism. He advised future journalists how to start a career, how to motivate yourself to write, publish articles in prestigious foreign websites. It should be noted that this is a great opportunity for students of the faculty.

It should be mentioned that Dr. Kureshi was an international election observer in 2015-2016, often writes about Kazakhstan in foreign Media. An expert in the field of television and radio, such as Al-Jazeera, Press TV, MBC, Kazakh TV and LBC Radio London, conducts guest lectures at the University of Cambridge (Great Britain) and the University of Hebei (China). He is also the author of the book "The War on Terror and Siege of Pakistan", and his dissertation research is devoted to political psychology.
