An online scientific seminar was held at the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science

      On July 1 of  2020, an online scientific seminar was held to review the dissertation work of a doctoral candidate in the specialty «6D050400-Journalism» by Kusainova Mariyamgul on the topic «Storytelling in media communications: the interaction of art and media models».

      The online seminar was attended by the faculty of L.N. Gumilyov ENU, as well as a representative of the Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor Bakytbay Paluanov, doctoral students and undergraduates.

In addition, the members and the chairman of the dissertation council, Dean of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science, candidate of philology, professor  Sak K.O., took an active part in the discussion of the stages of the dissertation research.

      The main goal of the seminar was not only a demonstration of the results achieved, but also a discussion of the problems that the dissertation student faced when studying the topic. During the seminar, in the dissertation, participants noted a meaningful, original and interesting study on the trend of new media - storytelling and the types of interaction of its models.

Based on the results of the scientific seminar of the dissertation council, a decision was made: the dissertation submitted for defense can be considered completed by an independent scientific research, which comprehensively and comprehensively covers a number of topical issues and tasks that have important theoretical and practical significance at the present time.
