Alkeyeva Danara held an open lecture on "World and Traditional Religions"

On September 21, 2020, 2nd year doctoral student of the Political Science Department Alkeyeva Danara held an open lecture on "World and Traditional Religions" for the 3rd year undergraduates whose language of instruction is English.

Open class is a mandatory part of the PhD students’ pedagogical internship, according to their educational programme, and is one of a series of lectures on "Religion and Politics".

During the lesson, the doctoral student covered various issues of the five most followed religions: the Ten Commandments of Christianity, the five pillars of Islam, aspects and practices of Hinduism, Buddhism and Judaism. Students vividly interacted and readily shared views.

At the end of the lecture, in a personal conversation, the main lecturer of the course, Aubakirova Leyla Tanirbergenovna, discussed the lesson with the doctoral student, made comments on the organization of students' self-study for the next lesson and wished her further success in teaching.
