On October 21, 2021, at 11:00, as part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University, the opening of the nominal audience of the country's public figure, deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the first convocation, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Naubat Kalievich Kaliev will take place.
Kaliev Naubat Kalievich- Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor of the Department of Political Science of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Excellent Student of Education of the Kazakh SSR, Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
He was born in 1945 in the Abai district of the East Kazakhstan region. Graduated from the Semipalatinsk Pedagogical Institute named after N.K. Krupskaya (now Semipalatinsk State Pedagogical Institute).
1966-1972 - teacher of the Abai secondary school, first, second secretary, head of the department of the Komsomol Committee.
1972-1973 -Senior lecturer at Semipalatinsk Pedagogical Institute.
1973-1976 - postgraduate student of the Kazakh Pedagogical Institute.
1976-1986 - Head of the Department of the Semipalatinsk Pedagogical Institute.
1986-1991 - Head of the group of lecturers of the Semipalatinsk Regional Party Committee.
1991-1992 -Associate professor of Semipalatinsk Pedagogical Institute.
1992-1996 - Director of the Semipalatinsk Pedagogical College named after M. O. Auezov.
From 1996 to 1999 - Deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the Committee on Socio-Cultural Development.
1999-2001 - Head of the Department, Head of the Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2001 to 2003 - Consultant of the Department of Mass Media and Communications of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2003-2004 - Consultant, Chief consultant of the Committee on Socio-Cultural Development of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2004-2008 -Chief expert of the Information and Analytical Department of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2008-2018 he worked as a professor at the Department of Political Science of the L. N. Gumilev Eurasian National University.
Author of 60 scientific papers and works on the problems of the political system, democracy, the activities of parliament, political parties. Author of the scientific monograph "Parliamentarism of Kazakhstan: political analysis". He was awarded the commemorative medal "Astana" (1998), jubilee medals "10 years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (2001), "10 years of the Constitution of Kazakhstan" (2005), "10 years of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (2006).
The opening ceremony of the auditorium will be attended by public figures and veteran teachers, the leadership of the university and faculty, the teaching staff of the Department of Political Science.
