OPEN ONLINE LESSON "FALCON OF THE KAZAKH STEPPE - ABAY KUNANBAYEV"

On September 30, 2020, an open online lesson was held organized as part of the scientific and pedagogical practice of a 2nd year doctoral student of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University Ryskeldinova Saltanat Bolatovna. 

In celebration of the 175th anniversary of the Great Poet, the theme "Falcon of the Kazakh steppe - Abai Kunanbayev" was attended by 1st year students and members of the "Kozqaras" club. The open lesson was held in the format of the morning TV show "Tansholpan" of the Kazakhstan TV channel. The main goal of the event is to acquaint students with the moral life of the great akyn, to popularize the wisdom and spiritual heritage of the poet. Help students express their thoughts freely and learn the basics of journalism.After the opening speech of the organizer of the event, Saltanat Bolatovna, the hosts of the online lesson Amantai Zhuldyz and Tastanova Almagul opened with welcoming words. After the guests, the participants of the event were shown a colorful video, where they told in detail about the life and creative path of Abai, about the people who influenced his fate and formation as a person. 

A pleasant continuation of the lesson was the song "Kozimnin Qarasy" performed by Kuzembaeva Gulmira and the portrait of Abai painted by a talented student Kaidar Sayazhan. Our university also has students from all over the world. Among them are our compatriots from Mongolia - Kandzhil Marua and Akhirat Kulzira, read excerpts from the poet's poem and thereby continued the literary relay "Abay readings". In turn, Nysankul Dariga shared interesting facts about the life and work of the great poet. Thanks to Gaziza Ulykmanova, the participants made an online trip to Semey, namely to the State Museum named after Abai Kunanbayevich "Zhidebai-Borili". 

We got acquainted with the personal belongings of the poet, saw the house in which he spent the last 11 years of his life. The result of the event was a thematic quiz by Shunykova Tumar, where students could test their knowledge in the biography and work of the great thinker.The preparation and conduct of an open lesson was highly appreciated by students, teachers, namely the head of the Department of Printing and Publishing of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science Gulmira Ashirbekova, as well as the Deputy Dean of the Faculty Gulzhaukhar Zhambylovna, as evidenced by the grateful reviews.
