Internship of a 2nd year Ph.D. student Zhuldyzay Iskakova (Political Science) at the Institute of Peace and Conflict studies of the University of Granada (Spain)

2nd year Ph.D. student Zhuldyzay Iskakova (Political Science) from 13 of March to 12 of June 2019 has an internship at the Institute for Peace and Conflict studies of the University of Granada (Spain).
As part of the internship, Zhuldyzay Iskakova  received a document of a foreign researcher, which provides full access to the international scientific databases of the university, including the remote one.
The University of Granada created all the necessary conditions for the work of a doctoral student, including working space and access to the Internet.
Weekly the University invites to participate in scientific events in English and Spanish, where the doctoral student has an opportunity to meet with scientists from around the world.
One of the major events was the conference on the balance of power in the Middle East. Famous scientists from Russia took part there: Vitaly Naumkin, Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Elena Ponomareva, Professor of MGIMO, President of the International Institute for Development of Scientific Cooperation, Valikhan Merzikhanov, Head of the Department of European History of the 19th Century of the Institute of World History, RAS.  
The doctoral student also attended the presentation of the book by the famous Spanish journalist Vicente Vayes on Russian politics and his open lecture on elections to the Spanish Parliament.
     Zhuldyzay Iskakova  was an active member in a series of seminars by Professor Stellan Vinthagen from the University of Massachusetts on demilitarization.
According to the Zhuldyzay Iskakova, the internship time is one of the most productive for scientific research.
