On April 20, 2022, a meeting was held at the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science on the topic “Academic Integrity” and the role of the media in combating corruption. The event was attended by the executive secretary of the Birlik branch of the AMANAT party in Nur-Sultan Sh. Kozhakhmetov, compliance officer of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Kabyldin, head of the Adep project office of the Eurasian National University. L. N. Gumilyova, Ph.D. in Law E. Nugmanov, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor G. Kertaeva, as well as the leadership of the faculty, teachers and students.

 The Dean of the Faculty, Doctor of Philology, Professor K. Sak shared his opinion on the responsibility of media representatives for disseminating false information and the moral and ethical principles of a journalist's work. The founder of pedagogical deontology in Kazakhstan, the scientist G. Kertaeva noted the role of the teacher in the development of future professionally qualified, dedicated specialists and the importance of the deontology of journalism. The students of the Digital Media Management Group of the Faculty under the guidance of PhD M. Kumarova prepared a special report. 3rd year student A. Tuleuova presented her first photo exhibition "Corruption through the Eyes of Youth".

During the meeting, students exchanged views and asked their questions. The participants of the meeting expressed their gratitude to the deputy dean of the faculty for educational work G. Bolatova and the senior curator G. Algalieva for their support in holding this event.
