On May 20, 2021, the Student Scientific Society of ENU together with the «Council of Young Scientists» of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science and the organization of student self-government "Club of Political Scientists" organized a scientific webinar on the topic "Organization of research activities" dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence and the 25th anniversary of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov.
The main goal of the webinar is to teach young applicants and students to acquire academic, applied, practical skills in science, master innovative digital technologies and modern research methods.
The webinar was attended by students, graduate students and doctoral students, teachers and young scientists of the Eurasian National University. Moderator: Kuptleuova Zhanasyl Zhaiykovna - Chairperson of the Student Scientific Society of the Eurasian National University.
Webinar’s speaker - Almukhamedova Nailya Serikovna, Master of Economics, graduate of the Eurasian National University, research researcher, worked in the department of socio-economic research of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, worked as a leading specialist and general director of the Parasat Institute for System Research. In her report, Nayla Serikovna dwelled on the following issues:
Ø What is research and what are its types?
Ø Why do you need analytics?
Ø What's the formula for analytics success?
Ø What types of analytics are there? Etc
Thus, the participants of the webinar were able to get answers to their questions. In particular, a third-year student of the Department of Political Science Mierbekova Aruzhan asked the question: "What analytical organizations do you recommend to political scientists for an internship or practice?" Nailya Serikovna advised to undergo an internship at the «Institute of World Economy and Politics», at the «Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan».
At the end of the webinar, students and teachers thanked the speaker and all participants and once again congratulated ENU on its anniversary.
