Doctoral student of the Department of Political Science held a scientific seminar on "Environmental threats to regional security"

On 8 November 2023, within the framework of pedagogical practice and academic activities, doctoral student of the Department of Political Science Nurtaza G.A., held a scientific seminar on the topic "Environmental threats to regional security".

The seminar was organised to draw the attention of undergraduate and graduate students to important environmental aspects related to regional security. During the seminar students presented their papers on some important aspects of environmental threats to regional security.

At the seminar, students made presentations on the following topics:

"The concept of sustainable development as a platform for regional dialogue." This presentation explored the key aspects of sustainable development and its role in sustaining regional dialogue. Students analysed how sustainable development can contribute to regional security.

"Ozone Depletion as a Global Environmental Problem." This presentation addressed issues related to ozone depletion and its impact on environmental security. Students presented data on the effects of ozone depletion and measures to protect the ozone layer.

The workshop concluded with a discussion in which the students raised their questions and comments. The research results presented by the students emphasized a deep interest in topics related to the environmental security of the region.
