Doctoral student of the Department of Political Science held an open class on the topic "Russia in the new system of geopolitical coordinates"

On 8 November 2023, within the framework of teaching practice, the doctoral student of the second year, Nurtaza G.A., held an open class in the form of a lecture on the topic "Russia in a new system of geopolitical coordinates" for second-year students studying in the specialty "Political Science". Candidate of Political Sciences and Professor E.L. Nechaeva attended the open class.

The lecture discussed the main directions of development of Russia's geopolitics, considered its strategic interests and identified potential risks and opportunities associated with its activity in different regions of the world. The lecturer emphasised that Russia plays an important role in the international arena and is able to influence the course of events in world politics and economy.

During the lecture, students actively participated in the discussion and paid special attention to the role of Russia in the geopolitics of Central Asian countries. The discussion highlighted the importance of analysing Russia's impact in the region. Students expressed interest in geopolitical issues related to Central Asia and emphasised key aspects of Russia's foreign policy in this context.
