Recently, the head of the Department of Sociology and Sports of the newspaper "Egemen Kazakhstan" Orynbek Utemurat held a master class for students of the 3rd year of the educational program journalism. It was organized by the Deputy Dean for Work with students of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science of the L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University, as well as a teacher of the discipline "Social Journalism"Bolatova Gulzhauhar Zhambylovna.
Journalist Orynbek Utemurat at a meeting with students told about the peculiarities of writing a social topic. An experienced journalist: "the task of a journalist is to get to the bottom of the issue raised, to deduce the result. Journalists can contribute to solving public issues. Of course, first of all, he needs experience. When writing a particular problem that was previously raised by other journalists, it is necessary to highlight it from the other side and give meaning to the form of transmission. Raising the issue of social issues, a journalist should comprehensively analyze the event. After talking with several specialists, he will be able to reveal the topic from different sides."
According to a qualified journalist, a reporter should convey the desires, sorrows and needs of the people, objectively state the truth and take a neutral position. He also commented that reading an article on a newspaper page depends on the topic set.
– A well-posed topic immediately captures the reader. Usually, the formulation of the topic is directly related to the facts presented in the article. The topic is sometimes given in one or two words. Sometimes a single sentence of a character is put into the topic. Sometimes the most basic idea discussed in the article is presented to the reader's attention as a topic," O. Utemurat said.
When meeting with students, the specialist stressed the importance of competent writing, taking into account the rules of spelling. He stressed that even when writing a simple letter, the appropriate punctuation marks will later become a habit.He also told about his work and shared interesting stories. At the end of the lecture, he answered the questions of future young journalists.
