Why Nations Fail?

Today, at a political club meeting, we discussed the book "Why Nations Fail" by Daron Acemoglu and James A. Robinson. This book was recommended to us by Gabdulina Bagysh Akhmetovna. On 600 pages of this book, two types of states are described. In the first type of states, due to the specifics of their development, "inclusive" institutions have emerged, providing opportunities for entrepreneurship. In the second type of states, "extractive" institutions have arisen, in which business is either restricted by the government or absent. The authors, drawing from history, identify the reasons for the wealth or poverty of countries.
