Department of Political Science 12.06.2023.held a scientific seminar in online /offline format on the topic "People on the move - Immigration to Europe" with the participation of Professor Piero Ianiello from the University of New Haven (Italy). At this seminar, the problem of migration, which is widespread in the world today, was considered. In particular, such problematic issues as the global causes of the intensive development of migration, factors of influence, mechanisms of its regulation, its consequences, and great interest from the participants were analyzed. At the end of the seminar, the teaching staff and students of the Department of Political Science thanked our foreign colleague, presented a memorable gift and took a photo for memory.
Also, within the framework of the scientific seminar, diplomas were awarded to students who were just received by mail from the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University today.
