On November 16, 2022, a 2nd-year master's student of the Department of Printing and Publishing of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Zhanel Nurkisheva, organized an open practical lesson on the topic "Culture of language" in the discipline "Language and style of Mass Media" by Ph.D., Professor S.E.Tapanova. This topic was explained at the lecture session with an interactive slide, then the students gave feedback at the next practical lesson. The goal is to tell about the language culture, the norm of the literary language, its history and development, as well as to instill in students the skills of pure speech, thinking, strengthening their relationships with the help of oral speech.
In addition, we have dwelt in detail on each rule and spelling, since it is important for students to be able to expressively read the text on the subject of language culture, correlate their thoughts with logic, master the requirements for the formation of spelling norm skills in writing. During the lecture, the richness of thought related to language, the socio-social functions of language, the importance of the national language in public relations, the language of social and everyday communication, the culture of using words were told. We paid special attention to the styles that took place during the semester, including conversational style, business style, scientific and artistic style.
Special attention was paid to the accuracy of words, clarity of thought, word combinations and ethics, as well as the purity of the language and was explained to students by example. All that was said at the lecture, the students consolidated their knowledge with the help of a game on the "Kahoot!" platform. They performed all the tasks with interest, showed their activity. Finally, as a result of the game, the students who won were determined. The open practical lesson was interesting and brought benefits to the students.
