Today, on March 31, 2023, under the management of the scientific supervisor, Doctor of Political Sciences R.Nurtazina, a scientific seminar was held on the topic: «Integration processes in the higher education system” with the participation of the teaching staff of L.Gumilev ENU and other doctoral students. The topic was widely disclosed, in particular, the current situation on integration processes in the country's universities was analyzed. A comparative analysis has been carried out over the past 10 years due to the topic.
A detailed discourse on existing international agreements in the higher education system was conducted, plans were revealed to open branches in Kazakhstan of 5 leading universities of the world until 2025, the quantitative and qualitative composition of foreign students in the context of regions and specialties, as well as Kazakhstani students studying abroad for academic mobility.
Some risks of the coverage of Kazakh and foreign students with higher education in context with the migration processes of Asian, CIS, and European countries are also considered. Separately, examples are given of the influx of foreign students from India, studying mainly in medical specialties.
