Recently, the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana hosted a round table on "The World of Dukenbai Doszhan: a writer's laboratory and the fate of the nation" on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the writer Dukenbai Doszhan, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event was attended by active members of the journalistic club "Kozkaras", the head of which is associate professor, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science Bolatova Gulzhauhar Zhambylovna.
The event was also attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science, Prof. Sak Kairat Omirbayuly, and the notable akyn, head of the Department of Television and Public Relations of Duisengazy Serikzat Maksutuly.
At the end of the meeting, writer Saule Doszhan shared her memories of her husband's work. It was also announced that the writer's daughters, Ainur and Asel, will widely distribute the writer's works among the audience and award a special scholarship to students. The writer's son, Ardak Dukenbayuly said that the events organized on the occasion of the anniversary of the writer who left a mark on history will not end there.
