On January 30, 2023 a round table on "Religion and Politics" with the participation of the Faculty of "Journalism and Political Science", 2nd year students and graduate students of specialty "Political Science", and the guest religious scholar, chief specialist of the Youth Department, Muratbek Daribay. Students ogether with Daribai discussed about the concepts of religion, religious extremism and terrorism, forbidden communities. A distinction was made between religion and beliefs. There was a discussion in the context of whether there is politics in religion. Students made suggestions on the issue of combating religious movements.
