On November 27, 2023, senior lecturer of the Department of Political Science Tursynbek Aliya held an open lesson for 1st year students of group B040-3106-23-00 (multilingual) in the discipline «Introduction to the theory of politics». The topic of the seminar is «Political conflicts and crises». During the lesson various teaching methods were used: interactive (playing 2 rounds on the Kahoot platform), group work - analysis of political conflicts with filling in tables and diagrams of the dynamics of conflict situations. There was also a discussion on the transition to democracy in multi-ethnic states and the risks of conflict. The students showed quite deep knowledge and actively participated in the work. Members of the commission from the teaching staff of the Department of Political Science noted the high level of organization of lesson and training of students.
