Students of the Department of Political Science undergo practical training in the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Students in their third year of the 6В03106 - Political Science educational program Batyrbekova A., Zhalgas B., Eshmuratova E. are currently undergoing professional internships at the Central Election Commission from May 22nd to June 24th. During this internship, we have familiarized ourselves with the legislation, norms, and rules pertaining to elections. Utilizing the comparative skills acquired from our university, we are conducting analyses and comparisons of different countries in order to gain international experience for specific tasks. We have developed tables to determine and align information according to legal requirements, such as whether giving interviews is permitted before and during campaigning, if there is a right to conduct online platform campaigning, whether targeting is allowed, and the existence of contact centers within electoral commissions. We are working with various sources to search for information and verify the accuracy of the materials.

The internship at the Central Election Commission provides students with valuable experience in the field of electoral systems, and we are actively engaged in various tasks and responsibilities.
