According to the schedule of demonstrative lessons approved on November 24, an demonstrative lesson was held on the topic “Foreign experience in advertising: theory and practice” on the subject “Advertising technologies in the media” under the guidance of Akniyet Zhanysbayeva, PhD, senior lecturer at the Department of Printing and Publishing, Faculty of Journalism and Political Science.
The practical lesson was held in the English language group of the 4th year of the specialty "Journalism". There are 5 students in a group. The event was attended by the dean of the faculty, professor Sak K.O, head of the department, Ph.D. A.M.Shurentaev, responsible for the educational and methodological work of the department, Professor Tapanova S.E., chairman of the teaching and learning department of the faculty, senior lecturer Aizhan Pernebekovna and teachers of the department.
The topic of the lesson corresponded to the syllabus of the work program. The lesson included the requirements of the educational program and the specifics of the subject, was comprehensively supplemented and sustained in content. The students were active during the lesson and were able to show that they had fully mastered the materials presented in the lecture.
Practical lesson was based on the works of E.Berney, H.Lasswell, N.Chomsky, M.Vasiliev and A. Polikov, the history of foreign advertising and the methods of its creation were completely analyzed. At the lesson, the level of the studied material was checked using the game kahoot and handout cards. Students defended their commercials prepared on the basis of lecture materials.
The lesson reflected the connection between theory and practice, intra-subject and inter-subject communications. The culture of the teacher's speech, respect for students, the ability to conduct a dialogue showed the pedagogical skills of the senior teacher Akniyet Zhanysbayeva.
