On September 30, at the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov the event "Kazakh Radio of the Century: Present and Future" was held.
A radio studio for students was opened as part of the event. Now the youth of ENU especially students of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science, can share their ideas, record and broadcast radio programs. Their works will be broadcast on the "Qazaq" and "Shalqar" radio stations.
The presentation of the studio "Kazakh Radio" began with the words of radio scientist, veteran journalist Namazaly Omashevich and poet, journalist, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Zhursin Yerman. The opening ceremony began with a speech by the Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Historical Sciences, professor, rector of the University Sydykov Yerlan Battashevich.
Moreover, on the list of participants were Vice Minister of Information and social development Oishibayev Kemelbek, Dean of the Faculty of Journalism and Political science Sak Kairat, Docent of Department Television, Radio and Public Relations Duisengazy Serikzat, well-known scientist, journalist Sultankhan Akkulovich and also Director of “Balapan TV” Kymbat Doszhan.
In addition, the event was organized in the framework of the 25th anniversary of the Eurasian National University named after L.N Gumilyov and the 100th anniversary of Kazakh radio.
