Head of Political science department of L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University presented a lecture for students of Shanghai International Studies University

On March 20, 2018 Head of Political science department of Journalism and political science faculty of ENU professor Nechayeva E.L.  presented a lecture for students of Shanghai International Studies University (http://ru.shisu.edu.cn/resources/events/lecture/content7496). The theme of lecture was «Political system of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

Shanghai International Studies University was founded as Institute of Russian language in 1949 and well-known for many-sided cooperation with the universities of the different countries now. At this moment the university were stablished academic relation and cooperation with great number of the foreign universities, including teaching and student's exchanges. Now more than 3000 international students have been studying at Shanghai University. At this university the largest number of Russian-speaking students from Russia, Kazakhstan and other countries.

 In 2017 Kazakh Language Department was opened at the Institute of Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia of Shanghai University. The students who have been studying Kazakh are interested in not only in linguistic aspects, but also history, culture, economy and policy of modern Kazakhstan.

 In the lecture professor Nechayeva E.L. spoke about meaning of political system, the main approaches to analysis of political systems and stages of formation of political system of Kazakhstan. With great interest students acquainted with institutes of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s government, learned about features of electoral and party system of Kazakhstan. Special attention in a lecture paid to value of the constitutional changes of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s political system.

At the meeting with the teaching staff of the Institute of Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia of Shanghai University, held on March 21, discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation between our universities, the development of academic mobility programs and research internships for students and undergraduates.
